Redfoot is a Folk Rock/Americana band from Bowling Green, KY founded in 2005 by Cort Basham a professor at Western Kentucky University and Elder of Westminster Bible Church. Initial members included Stellar Kin members Brandon Miles on drums and Derek Price on bass, harmonica, and harmonies. This completed version 2.0. A final upgrade to 2.1 included the addition of Ryan Staples on electric guitar and Charla Dell Majors on harmonies, percusions, and bells.

Their debut full-length album “Winnowing Fork” was released on Bad Apple Records in November 2007 to critical acclaim from notables such as Phantom Tollbooth, Absolute Punk, and Indie Vision Music.

In September 2010 Price and Majors (now Furlong) announced their friendly departure due to geographical difficulties. “Winnowing Fork” producer Jon Doss joined on bass in early October, taking the band to version 3.0 while they began regular practice and writing for a sophomore record. Rachel Miller joined in late October, completing version 3.1 and allowing possibilities to pull off the band’s 5th annual Christmas concert and final planning for 2011 goals, which include releasing a sequel to “Winnowing Fork” and more  opportunities to perform. Please contact info@badapplereords.net to inquire about booking.
